"Matrimony"

"The Altar"

Know you of the Altar of Mileth. All of the Temuairan Gods have been known to appear there to the faithful.

"Where is the altar?"

The Altar of Mileth is obvious as anything in Mileth. It is in front of the inn of Mileth. You will recognize it by the woman dressed in the ancient robes of the Aosda. Before her is a basin, which offerings are placed in.

"What is the altar"

The Altar of Mileth is where the gods of Temuair are known to appear.
Go to it and offer something of value to the Gods. Do not do it in expectation of reward, and do not offer something you wish to retain. It will be swept away. If you are devout, a god may appear.
Priest exclusive dialog
As a Priest, you are expected to visit the Altar once a Temuairian day. When you do, you must make prayer and offer something of value to the gods. It should be something as valuable as wine or brandy. If it is more valuable, that is wonderful, but it will not increase your favor with the gods.
If you continue to offer in this manner, once a day, then you will eventually be answered by a Temuairan god. If you offer more often, it will not affect your favor with the gods.
At some point you may be given a gift from the gods. Cherish it. Though it appears like an earthly object, it is imbued with the essence of that god.

"Where did the altar come from?"

The altar has been here since the times of the Aosda. It is an ancient monument built to the deities, in hopes of gaining their attention. Blasphemous altars gain the attention of horrible things. This alter, though, attracts mostly the attention of the benevolent gods of Temuair.
